Vehicle Woes

I've never been one to wash my car every weekend or vacuum it out faithfully. I wish I were, but it's not in my makeup. So I decided that I should go to the mega carwash center where they drive it in and do all that dirty work for less than $20 bucks. Oh my goodness! My old Taurus looked great. BUT - when I got back in the car, the inside lights would not go off and the light in the dashboard indicated that a door was ajar. I opened and closed every door and played with the latches. Messed with the trunk too, but to no avail, those lights were shining bright. This was yesterday at noon and the lights are still on, 24 hours later. I prayed that the battery would not be dead this morning and it wasn't. So now I'm off to get an oil change and maybe they can wiggle the correct wire to turned the dumb things off. Just another day in the life of Susan :)
